What is a Personal Service?

A FAXCOM Anywhere Personal service is one of three FAXCOM Anywhere services available, where the other two are the Business service and the Enterprise service. The Personal service is designed for individual users; the Business service is designed for small offices and workgroups that want central management of multiple personal accounts; the Enterprise service is designed for larger organizations that want more advanced fax functionality and integration with specialized applications.

How much does it cost?

For an individual account, FAXCOM Anywhere Personal service costs $10.00 per month, plus 10 cents per fax page sent and 6 cents per fax page received. We also offer a FAX on-demand product that let's you fax without a monthly fee at $1.00 per fax page.

You can get a toll free number for receiving faxes for an additional $5.00 per month, and receive fax pages to this phone number at 13 cents per page. A non toll free number costs just $1.00 per month or you can elect not to have a number at no cost.

In addition, there is a one-time activation fee of $10.00 due at the time you sign up for your account, except for the FAX on-demand product which has a $1.00 activation fee.

Do I need a fax machine or any special equipment to use my FAXCOM Anywhere Personal Account?

No. Your FAXCOM Anywhere Personal Account is e-mail-based, so wherever you can access your e-mail account, you can send or receive faxes.

Is there a limit on how many fax pages I can send or receive per month?

No. If, however, your Personal Account usage charges exceed $50 at any time, your credit card will be billed to bring your charges down to zero.

Can I keep my current fax number or forward faxes sent to my fax machine to my FAXCOM Anywhere Personal account?

Yes. You can do either, simply by asking your local phone company to “forward all calls” from your current fax number to your new FAXCOM Anywhere number. Be aware, though, that by using only your FAXCOM Anywhere number, you can eliminate the costs of maintaining the original phone line.

How am I billed?

Your monthly account fee and any usage charges you incur are applied to your credit card. You can view the bill by logging into your account and clicking the Billing Activity button.

How do I upgrade my trial account to a paid account?

Send an e-mail message to sales@corp@faxcomanywhere.com and let us know that you would like to upgrade to a paid account.

How do I cancel my service?

If you have a contract, you can cancel at the end of your contract period. If you pay month-to-month, you can cancel at any time. While unused monthly fees will not be refunded or prorated, usage charges will cease as soon as your account is canceled. To cancel an account, send an e-mail to sales@corp.faxcomanywhere.com and request that your account be canceled.

If I cancel my service, what happens to my fax number?

Once you cancel your service, your fax number is deactivated for 30 days, after which time it is assigned to another customer.

For individual users.

With a Personal Account, you get your own personal fax number that you provide your contacts so that you can receive faxes into your e-mail account and view them wherever you may be. You can also send faxes out to any fax machine in the world using simple e-mail addressing. Choose from among the month-to-month or 12, 24 and 36-month plans to fit your needs and to pay only for what you use.

FAXCOM Anywhere Business Service

For small offices and workgroups.

Business Service accounts are designed for small businesses and professional groups that need multiple personal accounts that are centrally managed. Office accounts allow an account administrator to set up new users, assign phone numbers, and manage accounts. In addition, the aggregate page volume from all users of a Business Account may reduce the per-page rate. All charges appear on a single monthly bill.

FAXCOM Anywhere Enterprise Service

For small to medium size enterprises

This option provides all the benefits of a high-performance enterprise fax server, without having to install one. Just download the FAXCOM Suite for Windows module and install it as a service on any Windows 2000 or 2003 server. This software integrates with LDAP or Active Directory to allow an administrator to assign users rights to access fax services, assign phone numbers, and set up queues by department.

It also works with Group Policy and provides tight integration with Exchange, Outlook, SMTP, Windows desktops, and the Web. The Web component can be integrated with your own corporate portal, rather than using the FAXCOM Anywhere Web site.

Furthermore, FAXCOM Anywhere Enterprise has a Software Developers Kit (SDK) that allows programmers to fax-enable in-house applications. Many other commercial software programs, as well as office multifunctional peripheral devices from Xerox, HP, Cannon, Lexmark and others, are integrated with FAXCOM Anywhere Enterprise.

What is the difference between the Business Service and the Enterprise Service?

What kind of privileges does the Business Service Administrator have?

All account information, including users, fax history, and billing activity, are centrally
managed by the Administrator. The Business Service Administrator can:

• Add, remove, or modify the privileges and access of selected users
• Create “sender only” users without purchasing/assigning additional fax numbers
• Monitor delivery status of fax activity
• Examine billing activity and account information including statements, balances and invoices
• Manage account information including password and contact information
• Manage contacts and e-mail/fax communications from one central location.

Can FAXCOM Anywhere work with our particular e-mail system?

FAXCOM Anywhere Enterprise delivers more integration than any other hosted fax service on the market. Specifically, FAXCOM Anywhere Enterprise is tightly integrated with Active Directory, LDAP, Group Policy, major e-mail applications and e-mail servers, and the Microsoft Management Console (MMC). FAXCOM Anywhere Enterprise supports multiple methods for submitting fax, and a wide range of applications, including:
