Web-based fax service accelerates daily business processes with capabilities such as instantly sending crucial documents, e-mail confirmations of fax transmissions, automatic retries, reporting and tracking features, and the elimination of manual fax machines and supplies. FAXCOM Anywhere Business Fax Service is an e-mail-to-fax service that supports multiple users under one centrally managed account.
Users only need e-mail or Web access to use FAXCOM Anywhere to receive and send faxes to any fax machine in the world. FAXCOM Anywhere works with virtually any e-mail program.
Sending a Fax
1. To send a fax, start your e-mail program and address the fax as follows:
firstname.lastname.fax#@faxcomanywhere.com
For example, to send a fax to John Doe at the fax number 978-555-1212, type in the “To” field:
John.Doe.978-555-1212@faxcomanywhere.com

You can send a fax to multiple recipients, just as you would send an e-mail message to multiple recipients.
2. Create your fax message in the text area of your e-mail program.
3. Then, attach any documents to be included in the fax. FAXCOM Anywhere automatically converts most popular file types into the fax format, including:
• MS Word |
• Lotus WordPro |
• MS Excel |
• WordPerfect |
• MS PowerPoint |
• Visio |
• Lotus 1-2-3 |
• Adobe Acrobat |
• Lotus Freelance |
• Web page HTML documents |
• MS Project |
|
4. You will receive a confirmation e-mail that your fax was sent.
5. You can also view, track, and report status of all fax transmissions via a browser-based interface.
Receiving a Fax
Your received faxes are all delivered to your e-mail inbox, where they arrive as searchable PDF file attachments to incoming e-mail messages. Open the attachments with Adobe Acrobat Reader, and you’re ready to view your received faxes.
